Who is the Organisation?

AKW Contour Showers, established in 1959, is a company based in Cheshire, specialising in the design and manufacturing of accessible bathroom products.

What were the project requirements?

Contour were relocating to a new 26,000 sq. ft. purpose-built manufacturing facility, office, and showroom in the heart of Cheshire. WB was invited to help design and layout the various departments, focusing on enhancing staff comfort and productivity.

What was our process?

Our team created a comprehensive layout design, which was refined in collaboration with the client until we reached the optimal solution. The client then visited our showroom to select colours, finishes, and choose from our range of desking and seating options. After finalising these choices, we provided a detailed quotation. Our project team coordinated with the client and the developer to establish an installation plan, which was scheduled over two days. This ensured that everything was ready for the staff to move straight into the new office and start operating seamlessly.

What was our solution?

WB provided a bench system featuring complete wire management and desk screens, designed to establish the necessary workgroups and departments. To enhance desk space, monitor arms were included, along with task chairs and desk pedestals. The directors' and managers' offices were designed to maximise space while utilising the same ranges and finishes as the rest of the offices. Additionally, WB supplied new conference room furniture, including monitors, a training area, and bistro seating.
